About Jean Cavalera

Jean-Claude "JC" Cavalera was born in Nice, France in 1957 and moved to the United States in 1979. He began his career as a chef, working in top-tier restaurants and luxury hotels — including with the Ritz-Carlton company, where he embraced the timeless philosophy of “Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen.” That spirit of respect, service, and professionalism continues to shape his work today.

JC entered the real estate world in 1997 after purchasing a property management company, which required him to obtain a real estate license. What started as a necessity soon turned into a passion. With decades of experience, JC is known for his honesty, strong ethics, and deep commitment to his clients.

JC now lives in Grand Lake, Colorado — a place he loves for its natural beauty and mountain lifestyle. In the winter, you’ll find him skiing the slopes, and in the summer, enjoying the cool Rocky Mountain air. And if you’re out hiking, you might just cross his path as he forages for wild mushrooms along the trails.
